Dyna-Gro SUPERthrive pH-Up - 1 Quart

Description
  • SUPERthrive pH Up 1 qt - This product, SUPERthrive pH-Up 0-0-8, is intended to lower the pH level of your nutrient solutions and water.
  • Understanding pH Up: The pH measurement represents a scale of acidity or alkalinity. For growing in soil, the optimum pH range should be 6.0 to 6.5. For hydroponics, it is recommended to maintain pH between 5.5 and 6.0. Once the right pH is attained, nutrients become more readily accessible to the plant. pH levels that are excessively low or high can lead to the release of or binding of minerals in soils, causing toxic or deficient levels of some mineral elements. If the pH is too high, use pH-DOWN to lower the pH. A pH of 7.0 is deemed neutral, a lower pH is considered acidic and a higher pH is considered alkaline.
  • Application Rates: Before incorporating the nutrient solution, utilize a pH meter to gauge the acidity or alkalinity of the water. If the pH is LOWER than 6.0 (5.5 for hydroponics), add pH DOWN to the nutrient solution in ½ tsp. per gallon increments until the desired pH is achieved.
  • Nutrient Analysis: Potassium (K2O) amounts to 8% of the nutrient analysis.
