What It Does:
Trichogramma brassicae is ideal for controlling moths (Lepidoptera) on cole crops in cooler climates, especially where caterpillar and borer damage is common.
How It Works:
- Trichogramma wasps lay their eggs inside pest moth eggs, preventing development.
- After 10 days, larvae emerge, and each female can parasitize up to 300 moth eggs.
- Adult wasps live 7-14 days depending on temperature and moisture.
Best Conditions:
- Temperature: 62-90°F

Trichogramma wasps are gradually released over 2 weeks from dispensers or capsules, providing ongoing pest control. Choose the release method based on your preference.
