Perlite is a naturally mined mineral that heats up during processing, causing its particles to explode and expand in volume. The result is a great inorganic and dirt-free medium. Neutral pH: Viagrow perlite is clean, sterile, non-flammable, pH neutral, odorless, non-toxic, and will not wear or shrink.
[Mixing] Viagrow Perlite can be mixed with organic compost, natural soils or composite bark, it helps anchor the roots of young plants so that they grow healthy and strong.
[Drainage] Viagrow Horticultural Perlita retains water and food for growing plants, best used for drainage purposes. Good potting soils typically contain at least 25% perlite for proper drainage.
[Lightweight] Viagrow horticultural perlite is a light substitute for sand, it is very useful in hydroponic gardening systems, it is perfect for seed germination and cutting propagation.
